Although the CWGC database contains information on all eligible WW1 casualties buried in Allerton Cemetery, I realised while walking through it one day that there are many inscriptions in memory of soldiers who are not buried there.
I collected these names by walking around the cemetery and was as thorough as I could be but I don't claim 100% accuracy in this list! It is still a work in progress so more names may be added. If you are interested in any of these names I have further information on many and photographs of headstones which I aim to add here. For now, here is the list.
