List of Inscriptions at ALLERTON CEMETERY

Although the CWGC database contains information on all eligible WW1 casualties buried in Allerton Cemetery, I realised while walking through it one day that there are many inscriptions in memory of soldiers who are not buried there. I collected these names by walking around the cemetery and was as thorough as I could be but I don't claim 100% accuracy in this list! It is still a work in progress so more names may be added. If you are interested in any of these names I have further information on many and photographs of headstones which I aim to add here. For now, here is the list. John Tytler Williams

In loving memory of Kenneth Bruce The darling youngest son of John & Mary J B Williams, died Feb 10th 1919 aged 7 1/2 years. "God wanted another angel child, to join His shining band." Also of their dearly beloved eldest son John Tytler 2nd Lieut. K.L.R. who fell in action in France 21st March 1918 aged 21 years. "We thank God for every remembrance of you."
